Museum Closing

Unfortunately, The Climbing Tree Children's Museum will be closing it's doors on October 1, 2011. We just don't feel that the community can support a children's museum anymore. The economy has hurt every one's pocket book and our attendance has steadily fallen over the last year. We did have a couple amazing people step up and offer to be a part of the board but in looking at the big picture that was not going to be enough.

Join us for the grand opening of our newest exhibit the Enchanted Forest! Ranger Ellen from Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park and Curecanti national Recreation Area will be here to help us learn more about animals that call the Black Canyon home. Where do they live, what do they eat, and how do they survive these cold winters?

When: Thursday 1/27 & 2/10 from 3PM – 4PM

Where: The Climbing Tree Children’s Museum

Cost: Free with Paid Admission to the museum
