Unfortunately, we had to close our doors.  If anyone is interested in starting a Children’s Museum or re-opening The Climbing Tree.  Please send email through the Contact page.  It was a great place for area kids and is greatly missed.

Unfortunately, The Climbing Tree Children’s Museum will be closing it’s doors on October 1. We just don’t feel that the community can support a children’s museum anymore. The economy has hurt every one’s pocket book and our attendance has steadily fallen over the last year. We did have a couple amazing people step up and offer to be a part of the board but in looking at the big picture that was not going to be enough.

Come join us at Main in Motion, August 12, 2010, Thursday night.  Billy will be giving $2 donation pony rides from 6-8:30pm.  We will riding by the bounce house and climbing wall.  Hope to see you all there.

Jessica Frey will be at the Museum to help us explore music through singing, dancing and so much more!

Our block will be with out water, so we felt it would be better to close.  sorry for any inconvenience this might cause.

Every Tuesday Morning from 10:30 to 11:30

Krista Montalvo will be our story teller and then show the kids how to do a craft.  Please check our facebook page for the story and craft each week.

We are having a Grand Re-Opening this Saturday, June 26,  from 10 am to 5 pm.  There will be free admission to the Museum and many fun activities.  They will be serving  hot dogs and drinks from  11 am – 1 pm.  They will also be having a yard sale with tons of kid items and a silent auction.  Come see the new Museum at the new location, 330 S. 8th Street, Montrose, CO.

Come see the new Climbing Tree Children’s Museum.  We are very excited about the new bigger Museum.  We have some new exhibits and a bigger art room.  There is a nursing room for those new moms and a toddler room for the little movers.  We hope to see all of you there soon.

Happy Spring Break Montrose, Colorado!! Hopefully it will be a great week for everyone to get out and enjoy the time off.

We will be open Tuesday – Saturday from 10am – 5pm.

We will have Easter eggs to paint and the children can make their own Easter baskets from the materials in the assembly plant. This activity will be going on all week.

Come join a Park Ranger to explore clues of who’s been at the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. We will be looking at different animal tracks and animal poop.
