Museum Closing

Unfortunately, The Climbing Tree Children's Museum will be closing it's doors on October 1. We just don't feel that the community can support a children's museum anymore. The economy has hurt every one's pocket book and our attendance has steadily fallen over the last year. We did have a couple amazing people step up and offer to be a part of the board but in looking at the big picture that was not going to be enough.

Derby Days Fundraiser

It’s time for our annual Derby Day Fundraiser! This year we will be hosting this event at RnR Sports Bar on May 7th at 2:30PM. There will be a raffle, a derby hat contest, a silent auction, and tons of fun! More information soon!

The Climbing Tree Children’s Museum Grand Re-Opening

We are having a Grand Re-Opening this Saturday, June 26, from 10 am to 5 pm. There will be free admission to the Museum and many fun activities. They will be serving hot dogs and drinks from 11 am – 1 pm. They will also be having a yard sale with tons of kid items and a silent auction. Come see the new Museum at the new location, 330 S. 8th Street, Montrose, CO.
