Every Tuesday Morning from 10:30 to 11:30

Krista Montalvo will be our story teller and then show the kids how to do a craft.  Please check our facebook page for the story and craft each week.

We are having a Grand Re-Opening this Saturday, June 26,  from 10 am to 5 pm.  There will be free admission to the Museum and many fun activities.  They will be serving  hot dogs and drinks from  11 am – 1 pm.  They will also be having a yard sale with tons of kid items and a silent auction.  Come see the new Museum at the new location, 330 S. 8th Street, Montrose, CO.

Come see the new Climbing Tree Children’s Museum.  We are very excited about the new bigger Museum.  We have some new exhibits and a bigger art room.  There is a nursing room for those new moms and a toddler room for the little movers.  We hope to see all of you there soon.

Happy Spring Break Montrose, Colorado!! Hopefully it will be a great week for everyone to get out and enjoy the time off.

We will be open Tuesday – Saturday from 10am – 5pm.

We will have Easter eggs to paint and the children can make their own Easter baskets from the materials in the assembly plant. This activity will be going on all week.

April 1st will be our next Music Class at the Children’s Museum, located at 413 N. 1st Street in Montrose, Colorado.  This class is from 10:15 to 11:15 and there is no additional cost besides admission.  Jessica Frey is the instructor and will help us to explore music through singing, dancing, and so much more.  This class is for ages 18 months and up.

Come join a Park Ranger to explore clues of who’s been at the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. We will be looking at different animal tracks and animal poop.

We’re proud to be a resource for Montrose, Colorado area children and we’re relaunching our website.

We’ll have different user friendly areas and plan on being officially launched on Monday, March 8, 2010. Some of the things that we’d like to include are:

Marketplace page – where people can submit goods that they would like to trade, sell or give away

Volunteer page – where people can download an application as well as sign up in the google form

Google Map – So people can get custom directions from anywhere

A Photo Gallery – So you can take a look at the facilities

We’re working on the website this weekend, and are open for our regular hours.
