Volunteer Opportunities   

Interested in Volunteering at The Climbing Tree?

Our greatest need is for volunteers to staff the museum. By volunteering for two shifts per month, you will receive a free Annual Membership for the period of time that you are a volunteer.  For additional information and to find out when the next training session is, please contact the The Climbing Tree at 240-TREE (8733).

Volunteers are also needed for the following tasks:

FUNDRAISING                   

Donor recruitment (open houses, luncheons, other events?)

Donor management (b-day cards, article mailings, phone calls)

Grant writing

Sales of annual memberships

MARKETING                   

Advertising

Flyer handout (preschools, stores, libraries, pool, parks)

Media contacts

Regional marketing (Gunnison, Delta, Ouray/Ridgway, Telluride, Norwood/Nucla...)

Schools

EVENTS

Coordinate and staff regional events:

Bi-lingual needs (signage, workshops...)
