Interested in Volunteering at The Climbing Tree?
Volunteering Helps Our Community and Our Children
Our greatest need is for volunteers to staff the museum. By volunteering for two shifts per month, you will receive a free Annual Membership for the period of time that you are a volunteer.

Volunteers are also needed for:
FUNDRAISING
- Donor recruitment (open houses, luncheons…)
- Donor management (b-day cards, article mailings, phone calls)
- Grant writing
- Sales of annual memberships
MARKETING
- Advertising
- Flyer handout (preschools, stores, libraries, pool, parks)
- Media contacts
- Regional marketing (Gunnison, Delta, Ouray/Ridgway, Telluride, Norwood/Nucla…)
- Schools
EVENTS
Coordinate and staff regional events
OTHER
Bi-lingual needs (signage, workshops…)
